In 2015, I was appointed to the Smithfield Economic Development Commission. In 2020, I was promoted to Chair of the Commission. Since then, the team and I have launched new initiatives aimed at promoting local businesses, such as the Business Spotlight featured in the Town Manager's monthly newsletter, the Exploring Smithfield summer event, and the popular Apple Trails scavenger hunt in the fall.

I have participated as a member and president of the Old County Road School Parent Teachers Association. Today I lend my time to Scouting America Troop 438 (formerly Boy Scouts of America) as Troop Committee Chair and as Vice Chair of the Scouting America Narragansett Council Northwest District Committee. My aim is to improve the Scouting experience for local Scouts, including my two teenagers, who are students in the Smithfield Public Schools.
